Cannon Fishing: Fast Paced Action with 96% RTP at DDDPH
Cannon Fishing — aim, shoot, take the boss down
You control the cannon. You pick the target. You decide when to fire. Not a slot where you press spin and wait. The faster and more accurate you shoot, the more you collect. 4 cannon levels, 20+ fish species, boss multipliers up to 500x.
You aim, you shoot, you keep what you hit
Most fishing games just run on autopilot. Cannon Fishing doesn’t. Every shot is a decision you make with your own hands.
Your cannon sits at the bottom corner of the screen. You drag to aim, tap to fire. Fish swim across in schools, some slow, some fast, some worth almost nothing and some worth hundreds of times your bet. The bigger the fish, the more bullets it takes to bring down, and the bigger the payout when it drops.
Up to 4 players share the same table at once. Everyone’s shooting at the same screen. When a boss fish appears, the whole table usually piles in. Whoever lands the final shot takes the full boss reward. That last-hit mechanic is what makes the game competitive in a way most fishing titles aren’t.
4 cannon levels — pick the right one for the target
Each level costs more ammo per shot and hits harder. The mistake most new players make is upgrading too early. Match the cannon to the fish, not to how you’re feeling.
Standard Cannon
Basic firepower, low cost per shot. Use this to work through small fish schools and build up your balance before committing to heavier ammo.
Rapid Cannon
Faster fire rate, mid-range damage. Good for squid and lobster that move at medium speed. Starts to get expensive against small fish so don’t waste it there.
Thunder Cannon
Bullets chain lightning to nearby targets. One shot can hit multiple fish if they’re close together. Effective for chipping boss health and clearing dense schools.
Torpedo Cannon
Armor-piercing torpedoes, maximum damage. Wipes out whole schools and concentrates massive damage on bosses. Expensive per shot, only worth it on high-value targets.
20+ fish species — what each one pays
Know your targets before you start shooting. Small fish are for building ammo. Bosses are where the real money is. Rare fish in between are worth chasing if the angle is right.
| Fish | Payout | Notes | |
|---|---|---|---|
| 🐟 | Small clownfish | x2 – x5 | Thick schools, easy kills, good for ammo farming |
| 🐡 | Pufferfish | x8 – x15 | Slow swimmer, moderate health, decent return |
| 🦀 | Treasure crab | x25 + chest | Drops a random gold coin chest on kill |
| 🦞 | Golden lobster | x20 – x35 | Hugs the seabed, narrow shooting angle |
| 🦑 | Electric squid | x30 – x60 | Fast, changes direction often, needs steady fire |
| 🐬 | Silver dolphin | x50 – x90 | Crosses screen fast, high payout if you land it |
| 🐙 | Kraken octopus | x80 – x150 | Tanky, takes a lot of bullets, worth the investment |
| 🦈 | Great white shark | x200 – x350 | Deep-sea boss, needs Thunder or Torpedo cannon |
| 🐋 | Golden whale | x350 – x500 | Rarest boss. Whole table usually piles in. Last hit takes all. |
How to shoot without burning through your balance
Cannon Fishing rewards patience more than aggression. The players who last longest at the table are the ones who pick their shots, not the ones firing constantly.
Five habits that keep your balance alive
-
Start on Level 1 cannon every session. Get a feel for the current fish patterns before spending heavier ammo. Each session the fish speeds and school sizes vary slightly.
-
Wait for schools to bunch up before firing. One well-timed shot into a tight cluster of fish can hit 2–3 at once. Shooting at single fish one by one wastes ammo fast.
-
Watch what the table is shooting at. If three other players are already hammering a boss, let them do the heavy work. Conserve your ammo and switch to a higher cannon only when the boss health bar starts flashing red.
-
Use Thunder cannon only when rare fish are close together. The chain lightning is wasted on spread-out targets. It’s most effective when a squid and a dolphin are crossing the same area at the same time.
-
Set a daily bet limit before you sit down. When you hit it, stop. The table will still be there tomorrow. Chasing losses by firing faster just empties your balance quicker.
How to steal the boss reward with the last hit
The last hit mechanic is the most valuable skill in Cannon Fishing. One well-timed shot at the right moment can take a reward that three other players spent their ammo building up.
When a Great White Shark or Golden Whale appears, the whole table usually opens up with heavy cannons. Let them. Sit back on Level 1 or Level 2 and watch the boss health bar. Don’t commit your heavy ammo yet.
When the boss starts flashing red continuously, that’s the low-health signal. Switch to Level 4 Torpedo Cannon and fire 2–3 consecutive shots directly at the boss weak point. If your shot lands the kill, you collect the entire boss reward, regardless of how much ammo everyone else spent getting it to that point.
